Both sides have enjoyed strong starts to their Premier League campaigns and will both be looking to maintain that early momentum in Saturday’s early kick-off, with 2016 champions Leicester City welcoming Liverpool to the King Power Stadium.
Leicester vs Liverpool - Predictions
Liverpool did the double over Leicester in the Premier League last season but have suffered defeats in three of their last four visits to the Foxes, including in last season’s League Cup.
Both teams have made encouraging starts to the campaign, with Jurgen Klopp’s men the early table toppers with three victories from three.
However, despite a narrow opening day loss at Manchester United, under-fire Leicester boss Claude Puel has guided his side to solid back-to-back victories over Wolves and Southampton respectively.
Liverpool will enter this game as favourites but will be aware this is their most testing fixture to date and their dubious recent record in it makes this game too tight to call.
Each of the Merseyside clubs three recent defeats at the King Power have been by a margin of two goals and last year’s 3-2 league victory was attained only with the home side squandering a spot-kick chance.
Much like recent meetings, this will be a pulsating match-up but this time the two will cancel each other out in a 2-2 draw.
