Score: 1-3.

Manchester City will look to continue their push to retain this year’s Premier League title as they travel to an out-of-form and inconsistent Everton side in the Saturday evening kick-off.

Everton have gotten their campaign off to a slow start with just seven points from their opening six games, despite not playing any of the top six from last season.

They have lost each of their last two and three of their last four games – including Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Sheffield United.

Manchester City have already dropped five points this season – they were held to a draw at home by Tottenham and suffered a shock defeat at Norwich.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side roared back to form with an 8-0 thumping of Watford last time out and will look to build on that form in this encounter.

The visitors will be favourites to continue their winning run despite not possessing home advantage, as they hold superior form and quality over Everton.

The away side are favourites to win this game and it should be relatively comfortable – a 3-1 triumph for the Premier League champions would appear a likely outcome from it.
