The match is over.
Score: 1-1.

In-form German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt host an unpredictable Chelsea side in the first part of their two-legged Europa League semi-final tie. The visitors are favourites to progress to the final, but this tie is one to be followed closely.

Eintracht are a side in a remarkable run of form – they have lost just two of their last 19 matches in all competitions and are back into the top four in the Bundesliga.

One of those two losses was a 4-2 defeat at Benfica in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final, but their 2-0 win in the return saw them progress.

Chelsea’s progress in the Europa League has proven somewhat serene – winning all six of their knockout ties against Malmo, Dynamo Kiev and Slavia Prague.

Maurizio Sarri’s side will once again be favourites to win this and reach the competition’s final in Baku, but the German side may be undervalued in this one.

The visitors will be favourites to edge this game despite not possessing home advantage, while they also do not hold superior form and quality over Eintracht – who will prove dangerous.

The away side are slight favourites to win this game although they may fall to a narrow defeat – a 3-1 triumph for the German side would appear a likely outcome from it.
