The match is over.
Score: 0-5.

Italy are on the brink of sealing qualification for the European Championships next summer while minnows Liechtenstein will be hoping to pull off a remarkable result at home.

Predictions

Italy have won all six group matches to date and are on the verge of sealing their spot in next summer’s finals.

Roberto Mancini’s side have enjoyed strong form in what is a vast contrast to their inability to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, and while they are not a vintage Italian side, they are on the road to recovery.

Liechtenstein prop up the group with just one point from their opening six games and that was secured in their last match in Greece – Dennis Salanovic hitting an equaliser five minutes from time.

The hosts have no chance of qualifying for next summer’s championships and are without a win in 10 matches in all competitions.

The visitors will be favourites to continue their winning run despite not possessing home advantage, as they hold superior form and quality over Liechtenstein.

The away side are favourites to win this game and it should be very comfortable – a 4-0 triumph for the Azzurri would appear a likely outcome from it.
