The match is over.
Score: 0-4.

After picking up a comfortable win in their previous friendly against Bolivia, France will be looking to add another three points onto the board in this qualifier for Euro 2020.

This should be a straight forward win for Les Bleus in this fixture and it looks incredibly likely that they’ll do so against an Andorra side that, really, doesn’t stand a chance.

Andorra come into this game as clear underdogs having won just one of their last 15 games, with that win coming back in March of 2018.

France have lost just twice since March of 2018, losing at home to Colombia in a friendly before World Cup 2018 and in the UEFA Nations League against the Netherlands.

Andorra’s win came against Liechtenstein – a 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Marc Rebes – but have only managed to score two more goals since that win.
France, on the other hand, have scored 11 goals in their past four games including four goal hauls against Iceland and Moldova.

The away side are favourites to win this game although it may not be a big a margin as many suggest. A 3-0 win would be enough for Didier Deschamps’ side, maybe even a 4-0 win if they’re feeling good.

Betting Tips

France are overwhelming favourites for this clash so an away win carries very little risk while it is also highly likely that they’ll put a few past their opponents on this occasion – 888sport have a 4-0 win as 17/4. Andorra will put up a good fight but their resistance will be broken at some point in the first half, making this a smart bet for this round of international fixtures.

These are lengthy odds for an outcome which is more probable than they reflect, due to the difference in talent between these two sides. It wouldn’t be a shock to see France storm the first half and get the game wrapped up without breaking a sweat, with this bet rated at 19/4 by 888sport.

Head to Head

In three previous games, France have won all three games with an aggregate score of 7-0 in their favour, with the first game coming back in 1998.

  • The top scorer in this fixture is Sylvain Wiltord, who scored a brace in the last meeting between these two in 2004 as France won 4-0.
  • The first game was back in 1998 when France had just won their first World Cup, with Vincent Candela and Youri Djorkaeff scoring the two second half goals.
  • The only other meeting was later in that round of fixtures, with Frank Leboeuf scoring a late penalty to give France a close 1-0 win.
  • The only other two scorers in this fixture has been Louis Saha and Steve Marlet, who both scored in the 4-0 win back in 2004.
